There has been a lot of talk lately about how to involve technology into education, including the great Apple trying to make textbooks digital and how to integrate your smartphone into the classroom.
So the question is, do classrooms really need technology or can they just stick to the good old fashioned way of teaching with pen and paper?
What we have found lately here at Present.Me is that our site is getting used to hosting teachers giving their lessons and students producing presentations for the classroom.
Here is a great example of a student giving a presentation for her class about Marie Curie.
And here another great Present.Me of a teacher handing out an assignment to her class.
My next example for you I found quite amazing and was the first of its kind that I have seen. The teacher had pre-recorded the audio and for the visual used sign language – very exciting – here it is.
I believe the answer for our question is that technology has become a important part of the classroom and will become more and more important as time goes on, if schools have not integrated technology into their classrooms they might get left behind.
